A classic blend of spices to add flavour to sweet dishes, biscuits and cakes.
GLUTEN FREE
Date Loaf
225g flour
1 c milk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
100g chopped dates
2 Tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp Rawleigh’s Mixed Spice
chopped walnuts
Sift flour, baking soda, Mixed Spice and baking powder. Heat milk and syrup and mix with dry ingredients. Add walnuts and dates. Mix well and put into loaf tin and bake at 180°C for 1 hour or until cooked.
